Buffalo Creek Turquoise and Decor's name was inspired by my hometown, Waxahachie, Texas, founded in 1850.
The name "Waxahachie" means "Buffalo Creek".
My mother was a long time collector of Native American Jewelry and collected for over 60 years. I have carried on that tradition with my own private collection, which has now turned into my passion for finding pieces old and new to share with the public, as my mother did.
